From my vantage point, yoga brings together the body, mind, breath, and heart. It gives us time to pay attention to each of these aspects of ourselves. It gives us space to harmonize them so that we feel integrated and whole.
This is a worthy, playful, and challenging practice regardless of the kind of postural yoga we participate in on our mats.
What happens when we carry this practice off of our mats into the ongoing rhythms and patterns of our days, weeks, and years? What happens when we translate what we learn in our postural yoga into the broader experience of our lives?
This page of my website will be dedicated to experiments, observations, and practices in bringing yoga off of our mats. I hope you will join me in expanding the scope of our yoga!
